Ok, so, I've been asked recently what my view of love is, so I decided to put it up here.
Here I am talking about romantic love, since we don't have words in the english language to differenciate the diffrent types of love I have to use a modifier. There is of cours platonic love, and family love which are diffrent but incorperate some of the same aspects.
True love to me has three diffrent aspects, the mental, the physical and the emotional. You can have any one or two of those without acctually having love.
First off the emotional aspect is lust. Lust to a lot of people suggests something bad. But in the right context lust can be a good thing. I think a husband should lust after his wife, and likewise a wife after her husband.
Ok, second the physical. Now I know most people are going to think I'm talking about sex, but I'm not. I'm talking about service. Mainly putting someone elses needs before your own.
Third is mental. Love is a commitment. It's not something that you can give up if you get tierd of a person.
